At our 2018 Savannah, GA reunion, shipmates chose Las Vegas, NV for our 2019 VP-28 Reunion. Las Vegas is a city that needs no introduction. But, with its five-star resorts, world-class restaurants and boutiques, entertainment and nightlife, Nevada’s largest city has long outgrown its adult playground reputation. Vegas has truly earned its spot as one of the world’s premier tourist destinations.

Monday, September 23 - Arrival/Check-in Day
Arrive on Monday for Hotel and Squadron check-in. No formal activities are planned for Monday. Relax in the Hospitality Suite and learn about your options for shows, activities and places to visit during your stay in Las Vegas. The Gold Coast Hotel has nine restaurants in their complex and a 70 lane bowling alley for your recreation. The Rio Hotel and Casino and the Palms Hotel and Casino adjoin the Gold Coast property. Immediately after checking in, go to the BConnected Desk and sign up to receive your free BConnected discount card. This card will discount your Gold Coast meals, and you'll need it for our slot machine tournament on Thursday.

Tuesday, September 24 - Out-and-About Day
Tuesday morning our Hotel Shuttle will transport us to the LINQ Promenade where we will enjoy a leisurely lunch before gathering for our Big Bus City Tour of the strip. Sit back and relax as the Big Bus takes us on a narrated tour. You'll have hop on/hop off privileges at any of the BB stops should you choose to disembark and explore.

Wednesday, September 25 - Hoover Dam Tour
Wednesday will be a Hoover Dam fine day! Our Gray Line Bus will arrive in the morning at the Gold Coast and transport us to the dam for a guided tour. Hoover Dam is one of the nation's most famous dams because it took 5000 men working six years to build! They poured enough concrete into the dam to pave a road 3000 miles long! Our Gray Line bus will return us to the hotel in the afternoon.
